Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my just giving page.

In 1981 Aldaniti and Bob Champion won the world's greatest race, The Grand National. Both winning their individual battles against Cancer and life threatening injuries. My father started the Bob Champion Cancer Trust shortly afterwards.

I am a trustee of the BCCT and i am a devout fund raiser over the years. Having raised over £120,000. By various adventures and mis-adventures!

This Year , I have to scale down my physical efforts due to my old and recent injuries(currently a fractured knee cap, which is really annoying)

But I endeavour to ride the South Downs Way on a horse, it will be about 120 miles by the time I've gone off route!

I have Bob Champion riding with me, along with other racing celebrities and general public coming to join me on my adventure. Its actually a fair tough ride. I rode most of it by bike a few years back now, but we had to abort due to dangerous weather conditions.

Along the route we will have two fundraising events. The big day is on Sunday 21st at Plumpton Racecourse where we hold a BBQ, Dog show and an ABBA tribute band.

If you would like to sponsor me I would be truly delighted. If you would like to.join in, i would be doubly delighted 🙏 please contact me or Lucy Wilkinson at lucy@bobchampion.org.uk
