Story
I have worked for the London Ambulance service for the last 2 and a half years and I'm currently doing the Apprenticeship Scheme. My current role is Trainee Emergency Medical Technician (TEMT), but I'm training to become a Paramedic. As part of my job, I am a crew member on an emergency ambulance dealing with 999 calls across the capital.
The main reason why I want to fundraise for the Charity is because I’ve seen first hand out on the road the difference that public access defibs and early bystander CPR intervention makes in helping to improve the survival chances of people in cardiac arrest outside of hospital.
The other reason I’m fundraising is to help support the wellbeing and mental health services that the Charity provides to ambulance staff and volunteers. We regularly face challenging, traumatic, and high-pressure situations while caring for others, often at the expense of are own wellbeing. The Charity’s support services help ensure we have access to resources, guidance, and care what we need to look after are mental health so we can continue providing vital support to our local communities.
An example of the charity helping staff is through the funding they give to the tag rugby team called tagamedics by providing the funding for equipment and shorts!
On 10th July 2026, I am performing a Wing Walk in Kent. This means I’ll be strapped on top of a plane going upwards of 110 miles an hour.

I'm terrified of this challenge but you only live once and it's for an amazing cause!
Please do support and give in any way you can as it will be really appreciated. This will go directly towards funding more public access defibs and public training on CPR. You could be a part of this exciting journey by clicking on the link to donate as much as you can! Please do look at the video at the top of my page of me explaining a bit more as well!
