*Midsummer Night Psalms. *

Green Street Green Baptist Church in Bromley is, during 2024, supporting and raising money for International Needs UK and in particular for the rebuilding of a new block at the Makonge Primary School in Kiyindi, Uganda.

On Saturday 22 June, Green Street Green Baptist Church’s Book Group is organising an event called ‘Midsummer Night Psalms’, whereby the Book of Psalms will be read aloud, outside on the church’s plaza (weather permitting), or if not inside the Church. The actual reading will commence at 5pm, prior to which, at 4pm, there will be refreshments available and stalls to browse. The reading is expected to take between four and four and a half hours, throughout which refreshments and stall will continue to be available.

If you would like to sponsor the reading of a particular psalms (or psalms), or simply make a donation, we would be thrilled. No psalm too short or too long (119 comes immediately to mind!) or amount too small or too large 😊. We would also love for people to come along on the day to be part of the actual event.
