The Rossendale Trust provide support and services to adults with learning disabilities and complex care needs.

They encourage the people they support to break down barriers, overcome obstacles and live as independently as possible within their local communities.

I've fundraised £400+ for them before by running The Alton Towers Half Marathon, so it was only natural for me to run a full marathon for them, with the aim of raising even more money for them!

Demand for services has never been greater and fundraising is vital to help them continue to provide these opportunities and to also allow them to grow, so they can provide support to even more people. With your donations they can expand Oakwood activities by adding additional groups to their timetable, they can improve their premises so that more people can access their services and they can fund more work placements for people who want to experience the workplace.

I'm aiming to fundraise £2500, and I plan on doing this with your kind-hearted generosity, and by hosting a multitude of fundraising events such as bingos and bake sales before April's big race.

I've fundraised loads for charity of late, and conscious I'm asking the same people, but having worked with this charity before I even began to fundraise them, I know all about the hard, amazing, work they do and who they benefit.
