Story
Last year I ran the London marathon with my best mates Tom and Alex to raise money for Sarcoma Uk in memory of Oliver Owen - Toms younger brother. On 24 April 2027, I'll be running the London marathon again with my close friends Steve, Jay and Ben to raise money for Sarcoma UK.
In September 2024, we lost Oliver to sarcoma - a rare and aggressive form of cancer that affects bones and soft tissues. Oliver was my good friend Tom’s younger brother and a great friend of mine and many others and he was only 16 years old.
Although Oliver was three years younger than me, we had a great relationship and had a lot in common. Seeing how strong Oliver had been in the two years fighting sarcoma was truly inspirational and really made me realise how lucky I am.
Sarcoma UK funds vital research, raises awareness, and supports patients and their families, like Oliver.
Any donations, no matter how big or small, would be greatly appreciated and will go a long way supporting the amazing work that this charity does.
Thank you❤️
