Me and my best friend Mark are taking on Hyrox, a gruelling fitness race that combines running with tough functional workouts like sled pushes, rowing, lunges, wall balls and more. It’s a real test of strength, endurance and determination — and we’re pushing ourselves to the limit to raise money for the Elizabeth Foundation in honour of my son Jack.

Jack’s Story

Our son Jack was born profoundly deaf. From the very beginning, we faced a journey full of challenges, uncertainty, and hope.

The Elizabeth Foundation in Portsmouth played a vital role in those early years. Their expert team supported Jack with his listening and communication skills, and gave us as a family the tools and confidence we needed.

Jack later underwent life-changing cochlear implant surgery, which opened up a whole new world of possibilities for him. The support we received from the Elizabeth Foundation helped us every step of the way and made a huge difference to Jack’s progress.

We are raising money to give back to this amazing charity so they can continue helping children like Jack, and supporting families like ours. Every donation, big or small, will make a difference.
