Ultra X England 2024 · 14 September 2024 ·

At Power2Inspire, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in sport, regardless of body type, age, disability, or ethnicity. So we have created inclusive sporting events, where we deliver adapted sports in schools, organisations, and in local community centres.

Story

Inspire by John Willis, the Founder of Power2Inspire (the Charity I work for), I have decided to complete my own 108 (110!) challenge: the Ultra-X England, a multi-stage (2 day) 110km run in the Peak Districk with a total 4,388m elevation.

Last summer John, born without fully formed arms and legs, paddled 108 miles down the Thames. Since then, many impressive individuals and groups have taken on their own challenge to raise vital funds for Power2Inspire - so now it is my turn!

Power2Inspire's mission is to embed inclusive sport in the sporting, education and community landscapes - with a vision of a world where 'no one is left on the bench'. We run inclusive sports events that aim to educate, inspire and give everyone the opportunity to have fun, together!
