Elizabeth House is an amazing community centre that acts as a crucial Food Bank for Finsbury residents who are struggling to get by, but it does so much more … It operates a holiday Playscheme, After School club, and twice-weekly Youth Club, as well as running more than a dozen free or heavily subsidised weekly community activities ranging from women’s fitness and community groups to Zumba and martial arts classes. EH also provides space for lots of local community groups that need somewhere to meet but can’t afford to rent commercial spaces.

The Centre does all this with very little financial support. Nearly all its workers are unpaid volunteers - like Lis, who has been going weekly to help out at the Food Hub for more than a year and now has ended up as trustee and Treasurer! Because it is so efficient with its money, a donation from you would go a really long way in helping them continue to so much good work in the future.
