Last year on hearing the story of Leon and Morgans wee one Brooks, I took the challenge to complete the Dundee Kiltwalk to raise funds for Bheard.

This year I aim to complete the Glasgow Kiltwalk Mighty Stride (23 Miles) to continue to fundraise for BHeard. with some help from Falkirk FC and Falkirk Supporters Society.

BHeard was created from love, lived experience, and the belief that no child should struggle to be heard.

For families facing hearing loss, the journey can feel overwhelming — full of uncertainty, barriers, and moments where support feels just out of reach. BHeard exists to stand beside those families, reminding them they are not alone.

We support children with hearing loss to access the communication aids and opportunities they need — whether that’s signing, listening, speaking, or simply being understood. Because communication isn’t a luxury. It’s a lifeline.

Every child deserves the chance to connect with the world around them, to feel confident, included, and valued. At BHeard, we don’t just fund support — we help unlock voices, futures, and possibilities.
