Laburnum Boat Club are my neighbours, since I moved into Kingsland Basin on my narrowboat. As a small children's charity, Laburnum Boat Club provides opportunities for the development of young people and their families in the local community through water-based activities.

They aim to be a positive force for changing lives in a safe and supportive environment and target disadvantaged, disabled and vulnerable young people. I'm helping them raise funds to build a new storage house, put in solar panels, and basically run activities that challenge, motivate and include loads of really lovely young people.
