Story
In April 2026, I will be lacing up my running shoes and taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Mind the mental health charity which funds vital mental health support services. It's the longest run I have ever done and for those that know me will know I'm not a natural athlete so it's a massive challenge!!
I'll be running for a cause which means a lot to me as I have had episodes of poor mental health in the past and over the past few years, both my children have faced significant struggles with their mental health.
Mind provides resources, guidance, and a voice for those who feel unheard. Their work helps break the stigma, open doors to support, and remind people that they’re never alone.
Running 13.1 miles is no small feat, but every step I take is for everyone who has struggled with their mental health. I’m running to celebrate their courage, to honour their journey, and to help ensure that Mind can continue to be there for others.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, you’ll be helping Mind support more people in crisis, fund vital services, and change lives.
Thank you for supporting me and for standing up for mental health.
