Story
For my Bar Mitzvah project, I’ve decided to swim 11,800 meters — that’s 200 meters for each of the 59 hostages still being held by Hamas. 12 KILOMETERS!!
This is NOT just a swim. It’s my way of standing with the people of Israel, with the hostages and their families, and with the soldiers who are doing everything they can to bring them home.
I chose to dedicate my project to Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) because they support the real heroes — the soldiers who protect Israel and the Jewish people. FIDF helps them with everything from mental health support and financial aid to caring for wounded soldiers and families of the fallen.
Swimming NEARLY 12 KILOMETERS will be hard. But it’s nothing compared to what the hostages are going through. I want to do something meaningful to show them they’re not forgotten — and to raise money to help the soldiers who are fighting for their freedom.
Please support my swim and donate to FIDF.
Every dollar makes a difference.
Every meter I swim is for them.
Thank you so much for standing with me.
