On the 19th January 2027 I will be halfway through running the biggest event in gaming. Normally this would be the time to go out and celebrate 60,000+ visitiors coming through the door, but this year it will be a little different.

I will instead be getting punched in the face infront of hundreds of customers, colleagues, friends and family at Midnight Mayhem!

This is a huge personal challenge for me, and having never been in a proper fight apart from with my friend Daniel Blake at primary school I am super nervous and totally out of my comfort zone. But, I am determined to do this not only for the personal journey so I can have a body like the "Alex" in this picture, but to raise money for the MS Society.

My dad was diagnosed with Primary Progressive MS, a horrible disease that not only restricts normal life but also causes irreversible symptoms that affect both physical health and mental well-being.

But it doesn’t have to stay this way. Thanks to incredible research and ongoing trials, there is hope: treatments that could slow down or even stop these symptoms from progressing further. That’s why I’m asking you to support this cause with whatever you can give. Every pound counts towards making a real difference for people living with MS and their families.
