On the 21st September, Richard and I will be taking part in the Ipswich Half Marathon alongside my cousin Lily and her fiancé Evan to raise money and awareness for the Ochre Charity.

In September 2023 my amazing Grandad was diagnosed with Oesophageal Cancer, and he sadly lost his battle on the 12th April this year.

To us, he was more than a grandad.

He was a protector, a fountain of knowledge and the best cuddle.

He shaped us with his values and loved us all with everything he had.

Despite the new emptiness we feel at the heart of our family, his legacy will last for generations.

We hope that completing this run will help to raise money and awareness for this worthwhile charity so that they can continue to help others with this awful disease in the future.
