Story

Lisa's Wee Frilly Tulips - Walking for the Ayrshire Hospice

We are walking today because of a beautiful, vibrant woman who meant the world to us. She had a way of making life feel brighter, much like the flowers she loved so dearly. She could always find the beauty and fun in the world.

Lisa was beautiful inside and out, a butterfly touching everyone's heart and soul. She was kind, caring, and full of love, always thinking of everyone with a little butterfly touch of love.

She had a wonderful love for gardening and flowers, hence the group name. As we went to Holland last year, Lisa was too unwell and couldn't come; she asked us to bring her back her frilly tulips, and in her specific colours for her beautiful garden.

We are proud to be raising funds for the Ayrshire Hospice. It's a way to ensure that the care and compassion that define the hospice can reach others, as the care she had was very special.
