London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 · 6 April 2025 ·

This Trust has been set up in memory of Max Windle who sadly passed away in January 2021 at the age of 16. The trust will support both local and national charities which focus on improving mental health, including depression, anxiety and suicide prevention, in children and young adults.

Story

On 28th January 2021 two weeks before his 17th birthday, my close friend Max tragically took his own life. Max was struggling with his mental health, he asked for help but no help was available.

On 6th April 2025, myself and Max’s family and friends will be running the London Landmarks half marathon for the Max Windle Memorial trust. The charity was set up in his name to provide hope and life saving treatment to those who are struggling as Max was. As part of my prep, from Today (Feb 24th) I will be running the equivalent distance of Guildford to Anfield Stadium (292k) in the next 6 weeks, finishing it off with the Half marathon. Max and I always loved talking about Liverpool and also playing football together.

Any donations are so greatly appreciated and go a long way for such a great cause x

Thank you!
