Story
Why run 13.1 miles at 52? Because CEDA changes lives—and needs our support now more than ever.
In May 2026, I’m taking on the Great West Run to raise funds for CEDA, an Exeter-based charity supporting disabled people across Devon. Through workshops, social activities, and one-to-one support, CEDA empowers individuals to set and achieve their own goals.
As a parent of a profoundly autistic child, I understand the impact first-hand—not just for individuals, but for families and the wider community. The confidence, independence, and connections CEDA builds are life-changing.
Right now, charities like CEDA face growing pressure from rising costs and stretched local authority budgets. Their work is vital—and at risk.
I’m proud to support CEDA as both a fundraiser and board trustee. Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference.
Please give what you can today and help CEDA continue its incredible work. And yes—running this in my fifties hurts a lot more than it used to… so your support really counts!
