In 2018 my dear friend and colleague Davy Żyw was diagnosed with MND, a devastating disease that slowly robs you of your ability to move, swallow, and breathe. There is currently no cure, but it is not incurable - it is just underfunded.

We are cycling 595km and tackling a combined 8,925 metres of elevation (the same as Mount Everest), in a bid to raise funds for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.

You have a one in 300 lifetime chance of developing motor neuron disease (MND). Half of people diagnosed die within 24 months, a third within one year. There is currently no cure.

Davy been a source of incredible inspiration. He’s tirelessly raised money and awareness through extraordinary physical feats, which most people without the disease will never accomplish.

My Name’5 Doddie Foundation are helping fund promising clinical trials across the country. These trials are getting closer and closer to finding a meaningful treatment, and a cure for this life-stripping condition.
