It's that time of the year again! My Mum and I are once more braving Kent's balmy waters on Boxing Day 2023 as part of the Rotary Icebreakers Deal Dip.

This year we are remembering my two grandfathers - Philip Meagher and Charlie Wells. Warm, funny and hard-working, these lovely chaps had a lot in common - a love of family, sport and sadly, malfunctioning pancreas. Our chosen charities this year will be in their memory - Diabetes UK. To quote Philip, "not for all the tea in China" would he have swum in the sea in December, and Charlie was known to wear a full suit and Kagool in July, but I think they'd appreciate the thought!
