2024 the year of marathons and new challenges! I've never done a full marathon before, nor a half marathon through mountains! In doing this I would like to raise £600 for a great cause, Accuro, who I volunteered for some years back.

The Events

First up is Brighton Marathon on Sunday 7th April. This will be followed by the UTS Trail Half Marathon in Snowdonia taking in several technical mountain trails around the Snowdon massif on Saturday 11th May.

So who are Accuro?

Accuro are a a provider of services to people with a disability in West Essex. For over 30 years Accuro have been enabling people to improve the quality of their lives by offering unrivalled services to children, young people and adults with a disability and their families providing a range of services developed in response to specific, identified local needs.

Where will your donation go?

I have seen at first hand what a positive effect donations have, from providing equipment, to funding well needed days out. Accuro need all the support they can get and knowing I am raising money for this charity will drive me on even further. I simply want to do more for what is an amazing service.
