Story
ReachOut gives young people the skills they need to thrive in school and life beyond the classroom.
The charity focuses specifically on 9–14-year-olds facing barriers linked to poverty and inequality. These pivotal years span the transition from primary to secondary school, when confidence, relationships and attitudes towards education are taking shape - and existing inequalities can rapidly widen.
ReachOut exists to help change that trajectory. Its programmes combine ongoing mentoring with evidence-based curricula designed to build socio-emotional skills. Through weekly after-school sessions and off-site experiences, young people gain positive adult role models who broaden their horizons and encourage them to recognise their potential. Informed by ongoing research and impact data, this approach delivers meaningful, measurable improvements for the young people ReachOut supports.
I’m taking part in Ride for ReachOut to help make that support possible. Every mile I cycle and every pound you donate will help more young people have someone in their corner - encouraging them to believe in themselves and the futures they can create.
Thank you so much for your support!
