Crudwell 'Le Mans' 24 Hour bike ride is a community fundraising event where teams of all ages and ability compete to raise the most sponsorship. It is also fun to see which team can complete the most laps in 24hrs.

As well as raising funds for improvements to Crudwell village hall and its surrounds, this year 80% of funds raised by each team go to the charity of their choice, in our case Motor Neurone Disease Association.

I first met Craig in 2006. They lived together in Tooting for two years and stayed firm friends ever since. So when Alex heard the news about Marion, Craig's wife's diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease and the fact she could pass away within two to three years of diagnosis, he suggested we to do something to help.

Our amazing team ‘Plough through it’, aim to raise money to support Craig, Marion and their two children, Joe (4) & Max (2) by raising money for the MND Association charity.

Motor Neurone Disease is a condition that significantly impacts a person's physical abilities, often necessitating substantial adjustments in the home environment.

Any sponsorship raised will be directed towards the charity, who help those diagnosed in making necessary adaptations to their home, which will allow them to plan and engage in activities that strengthen their family bond and create moments for their children to remember, and that Craig can tell them about as they grow up.
