The RNLI is the Charity that saves lives at sea and on The Thames.

Story

From September 4-8, Conor and Alex will be joining a peloton of 30 intrepid cyclists to take on the gruelling coastline of North-East England from Newcastle to Bamburgh, up to Berwick and into Scotland, via Edinburgh and ending at the beautiful fishing village of Anstruther. This is a ride of 210 miles and 10,000 feet of climbs! The peloton will visit each of the 15 RNLI lifeboat stations along the route, with all funds raised going to the RNLI.

All funds raised will go to Tower Lifeboat Station, the busiest lifeboat station in the UK.

About Tower Lifeboat Station

Around 20 people drown in the Thames every year. Fast and powerful currents, huge tides, cold temperatures, hidden objects and debris make it one of the most dangerous stretches of water in the UK. Every second counts when it comes to saving lives, which is why Tower Lifeboat Station has the fastest lifeboats and a 90-second launch time.

Since opening in 2002, Tower Lifeboat Station has launched its lifeboats over 11,000 times and saved over 50
