Betty Crockett's fundraiser for Smile Train

Alexander Burn is raising money for Smile Train
In memory of Betty Crockett
Smile Train is the world’s largest cleft charity, sponsoring 2M+ cleft surgeries since 1999. Our success owes to our sustainable model of training, funding, and equipping local medical teams to provide comprehensive cleft care that’s always there for their neighbours in need.

Story

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Betty.

Betty sadly passed away at Worcester Hospital on the 10th of May 2025 aged 95 years.

Betty will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

A funeral service will take place for Betty at Cheltenham Crematorium,

on Tuesday 3rd of June at 13:30 in the Willow Chapel.

Family Flowers Only Please.

Donations in memory of Betty, in lieu of flowers, are gratefully received and will go to benefit Smile Train. These can be left in the retiring donations box at the end of the service or through the Alexander Burn Funeral Directors website.

Smile Train empowers medical professionals around the world with training, funding, and resources to provide free surgery and other forms of comprehensive cleft care to children in their communities. Our sustainable solution and scalable global health model drastically improve children’s lives, including their ability to eat, breathe, speak, and ultimately thrive.

Supporting Smile Train gives a child access to a full range of cleft services they would have otherwise never received and ultimately the opportunity for a better quality of life.
