My good friend Mark Sommerville and his young family were given the devastating news in 2023 that Mark had Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

Being the guy he is, Mark has battled the disease bravely and fought hard for government support to tackle the disease.He has taken the cause to the highest level of government.

The Mark Sommerville Foundation provides support to others living with MND, and runs various fundraising activities.

This is my small attempt at trying to help with his fundraising efforts.

My friend Ian Shields and I will be cycling about 250 miles along the length of the Hebridean way in 7 days in May carrying all our kit. It’s 10 islands, 4 ferries and 6 causeways. We ain't the youngest guys so a challenge it will be..please support us.
