Story

From a strapping young man living in Portsmouth and a family born and raised with love.....

After testing positive for HD, I needed to make sure that everything was done with conviction and make lots of memories.

My Mummy and Uncle were unfortunately HD positive too and have since passed away. They are missed a lot.

My Nan has been caring for family members with HD including my Grandad too for over 40 years and is now providing care to me as I navigate my life living with the symptoms of HD.

After enjoying the pain of doing the Great South Run 5K last year, I am looking forward to doing it all again this year.

I am joining an amazing team of friends...

All team members will be running/walking in tutus showing that we really are “TUTU COOL” HEROES FOR HUNTINGTONS!!!

We are all running for friends or family impacted by Huntington’s Disease. Some are running because they themselves have Huntington’s Disease. We are all united in doing this because we want to show up for those affected by the cruellest of all illneusses.

Money raised will support families in Hampshire and Isle of Wight to provide opportunities to make memories with their loved ones and grants for things that may otherwise be unaffordable.
