I am raising money in memory of my Dad, Manuel Izquierdo. Prior to his diagnoses of MND back in approximately 2010, he ran half marathons and 10K's to raise funds for charity. One of his early half marathons was the Great North Run and, therefore, I am running it this year in his memory and to help those living with MND and their loved ones who are supporting them, as well as those who have lost their nearest and dearest to Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
