Story
We are a group of 11 comedians, which means two things are guaranteed:
we cope with life by laughing at it, and we’re not always very sensible.
This challenge began with Alex, whose family experienced the kind of fear no parent should ever have to face. His oldest daughter was seriously ill, and for a long time the outcome was uncertain. Thankfully, she has made a full recovery — but that period leaves a mark. When you come that close to loss, you don’t forget the people who walk alongside families in their darkest hours.
That is why we are raising money for Marie Curie.
Marie Curie doesn’t just provide medical care — it provides dignity, compassion, reassurance, and humanity when people and families need it most. They support those living with terminal illness and stand beside loved ones through moments that are frightening, exhausting, and deeply emotional. Their work matters, immeasurably.
Each of the eleven of us has our own personal reason for being part of this. We’ve all been touched, directly or indirectly, by illness, loss, or the quiet heroism of those who care for others at the end of life. This climb is our way of turning those experiences into something positive — something that helps others.
Yes, we’re comedians.
Yes, we’ll complain every step of the way.
Yes, some of us are wildly unqualified for a mountain.
But behind the jokes is a genuine commitment: to get fitter, to push ourselves outside our comfort zones, and to raise as much money as we possibly can for a cause that truly deserves it.
If you donate, you’re not just sponsoring a group of out-of-breath comics struggling uphill — you’re helping Marie Curie continue to provide care, comfort, and kindness to families when they need it most.
Thank you for supporting us, for supporting Marie Curie, and for helping turn laughter, effort, and a slightly mad idea into something that really makes a difference.
