Story
On 17th October 2024, my life changed in an instant. While running to work, I was struck by a car and suffered severe injuries to my right hip. After two surgeries and three weeks in hospital, I was told I would never run again.
But thanks to the incredible skill, dedication, and care of my surgeons and medical team, I was given the chance to rebuild. Their work has made it possible for me to do something I once thought was impossible, and I want to honour that by showing that setbacks do not have to define us.
To prove that determination can overcome even the toughest challenges, I will be running the entire Thames Path—184 miles—in just four days. I’ll start at the Source on July 29th and finish at the Thames Barrier in London on August 1st.
This challenge is about resilience, gratitude, and giving back to the people who helped me get back on my feet. Every donation, no matter the size, will help support this journey and make a real difference.
Thank you for your support.
