Our power-assisted equipment provides gentle, repetitive movements, easing stiff and painful muscles and joints, helping disabled adults to move and walk better and be more able with basic tasks of daily living such as climbing stairs safely and doing things for themselves.

Story

I am a 17 year old student of Marlborough College launching a fundraiser that combines my passion for long-distance running with a deep commitment to supporting an incredible cause. My journey began last summer when I ran my first marathon. This year, I realized that my efforts could achieve far more for others than for myself.

My early childhood was filled with cherished memories of playing sports with my grandfather. However, with age came injuries. Recovery from such disabilities can be both costly and time-consuming. Yet, with adequate fundraising, we can make recovery accessible to everyone.

The West Berkshire Therapy Centre offers vital recovery services but depends heavily on donations and community support. This race will test my physical and mental ability. Matched with great training and preparation I hope to finish this race in under 12 hours.
