This January, the Endometriosis UK Dundee Support Group is taking part in the Winter Walk for Endo!! ❄️❄️❄️

Do you know someone suffering from Endometriosis? A chronic, full-body condition, Endo causes gastrointestinal issues, chronic pain, infertility, emotional distress, fatigue, and various other symptoms. For many, Endo goes undiagnosed for years due to minimal medical literature and gaslighting from doctors who often say “it’s just your period, don’t over exaggerate”. For some, this can lead to Endometriosis spreading to their lungs, heart, and various other vital organs.

I was lucky enough to be greatly supported by both my pediatrician - to find the specialist I needed - and my parents who brought me to countless appointments and supported me through various tests and, subsequently, two surgeries.

EndoUK hopes to increase awareness of this awful condition and provide the necessary support for those seeking a diagnosis and going through treatment.
