The Mersey Tunnel 10K will take me through the Kingsway (Wallasey) Tunnel where I will sup up the carcinogenic fumes as I make my way under the waterline to the glorious Wizzle. Then its a lovely uphill slog until I reach the waterfront, just in time to get absolutely pelted by that bracing coastal wind (and probably rain) all the way to the finish line near the picturesque big Morrisons in New Brighton.

Who knows, I might once again get overtaken by; a man pushing TWO infants in a pram (uphill!), someone dressed in a full Roman Centurion costume, or my octogenarian school Science Teacher Dr Wilde.

Anything could happen on this 10K thrill ride of humiliation and pain. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this humbling journey!
