My name is John and I’m 7 years old.

I want to raise money for the Northwest Air Ambulance Charity because they helped save my baby sister, Ayda.

Ayda is autistic and non-verbal. When she was little, she drowned and had to be rescued. It was one of the worst days of our lives.

We were told that she could be left with severe brain damage.

But today, Ayda is here. ❤️

She survived something that could have taken her from us, and I will never forget the people who came to help her.

The Northwest Air Ambulance and the incredible people who work on it were there when my family needed them most.

So I’ve decided that I want to do something to give back.

I’m going to come up with my own fundraising challenges and try to raise as much money as I can for the charity that helped save my sister.

We don’t know exactly what my challenges will be yet — but we’re going to make it BIG! 💪

My mum also wants to keep sharing Ayda’s rescue story so that more people understand what air ambulance crews do and why donations are so important.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help support this incredible charity and could help them be there for another family on the worst day of their lives.

If the Northwest Air Ambulance hadn't been there for Ayda, I don't know what would have happened.
