If you donated on the GiveMatch page thank you so much - your donations are shown here. I switched to JustGiving as a more well known platform, thanks again, Alex x

We are an inclusive charity that supports survivors of all genders over the age of 13 from across Surrey, who have been raped, sexually abused or have had an unwanted sexual experience. We do this through a range of free support services tailored to the needs of the individual and/or their family

Story

What was the challenge?

On 18th September I started walking from Porto, staying in pilgrim's hostels each night. On 30th September I reached Santiago de Compostela. It was a distance of 280km going from Portugal to Spain along the Camino de Santiago via the coastal route.

It's the equivalent of almost 7 marathons.

Supporting RASASC helped me push through the muscle aches.

Sexual violence has a lifelong and often invisible impact. It has the potential to affect all aspects of life, and those affected often need great support to find a path to rebuild. RASASC is a simply fantastic charity directly providing this.

Thank you so much, Alex x
