Story
Alice was just three when her life changed.
Diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma—a rare and aggressive childhood cancer—she began a journey that revealed the depths of her bravery and the boundless love of those around her.
For 20 months, Alice endured chemotherapy and proton radiation with a resilience that defied her age. She emerged from treatment and spent a year cancer-free—a year filled with hope, laughter, and the simple joys every child deserves.
But in 2018, the cancer returned. Once again, Alice faced treatment head-on: six more months of chemotherapy, surgery, and brachytherapy. Her strength never wavered.
After another year of remission, tumours were discovered in her abdomen and pelvis. This time, there were no options left. Alice passed away in 2019, just seven years old.
But Alice’s story didn’t end there.
Her journey became the heartbeat of Alice’s Arc—a charity born from love and loss, dedicated to transforming the future of childhood cancer. It funds research, supports families, and fights for better treatments—so that the next child diagnosed has a chance not just to survive, but to thrive.
Alice’s light lives on in every step taken toward a cure. In every child like our friends’ son Gaspard—who faced the same rare cancer and was luckier. In every donation, every act of kindness, every moment of hope.
She may be gone, but her legacy is fierce, radiant, and unyielding.
Alice’s Arc is more than a charity—it’s a promise that no child will face this journey alone.
I’m supporting this mission by running the London Royal Parks Half-Marathon. Your donation will fund vital research and give families hope where there once was none.
Every penny goes directly to this cause—100% of your support fuels hope, research, and care.
Let’s keep running toward a future where childhood cancer has no place.
