I just wanted to pay tribute to the very special soul that is Alex Connerty, who passed very suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday 15th January 2025.

Alex lived his life with the rare condition Microcephalic Primordial Dwarfism Type II (MPD). His family set up the Walking With Giants Foundation in 2008 to support other families like themselves and look into the causes of MPD. They work tirelessly to fundraise, and I thought that maybe we could help them a little with that during this very difficult time.

Alex, what an inspirational young man you were in your 19 years here on this earth. You pushed life to limit and did so much to help and to lift others. You’ve had such an impact on so many - and I know this won’t end with the passing of your physical body. That infectious energy of yours is boundless and defies the confines of time and space. You’ll be the weaving your magic in the spiritual realms now, and I know you’ll be surrounding those who loved you most with love and strength. ❤️✨

I know many will join me in sending much love, light and strength to his parents, Sue and John, and all of his family and loved ones.

Your darling boy will always be with you. He’ll already be showing them how it’s done it up there. 🥰🎤🕺🏼
