On the 21st of September, our amazing boxing club MBOX will be taking on the Conwy Coastal Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for Conwy Mind, a charity that means so much to all of us.

For me, this challenge is especially personal. I sadly lost my dad to suicide 10 years ago and I miss him every day and I don’t want anyone else to suffer in the same way. Mental health struggles are often silent battles, and too many people feel they have nowhere to turn. That’s why supporting Conwy Mind is so important to me and to our whole team, because they are there for people when they need it the most.

At MBOX, boxing is only part of what we do. Our club is built on values of mentorship, friendship, and creating a safe space for everyone who walks through the doors. We know how powerful community and connection can be, and we want to extend that beyond the gym walls by supporting the wider community through this fundraiser.

Conwy Mind provide incredible services, from listening and guidance to practical support, for people struggling with their mental health. They help to break down stigma, encourage open conversations, and remind people that they are never truly alone.

By taking on this tough coastal challenge, as a team we want to raise both awareness and funds so that Conwy Mind can continue their life-changing work. Every step we take will be in memory of loved ones lost, in solidarity with those still fighting, and in hope for a future where mental health support is available to everyone who needs it.

The walk will begin in Conwy, and start by heading up Conwy Mountain (801ft), before walking to Llandudno to take on the Great Orme (659ft.) The final stretch will be walking along Llandudno Promenade to climb up to the summit of our final peak – The Little Orme (463ft.)
