Alex's Thames Path Marathon Walk for the Epilepsy Society

Marathon Walk · 9 April 2023
Today is Purple Day; Purple Day is the international day for epilepsy awareness and falls on 26th March each year.
My name is Alex and I'm 14 years old. Both my brothers have had epilepsy since they were young and each year I try to raise as much awareness as I can for the condition.
On Easter Monday, after training during my school holidays, I'll be walking 26 miles from home to in Cookham to London to raise awareness and fundraise for the Epilepsy Society. See https://epilepsysociety.org.uk/get-involved/purpleday
Any donation you can give towards in support of my fundraising effort and challenge will help to transform the lives of people living with epilepsy.
£5 could help distribute tailored information about epilepsy;
£20 could ensure that someone who desperately needs to talk about their epilepsy could call Epilepsy Society's helpline; and
£50 could help forward Epilepsy Society's world-leading research projects, leading to more accurate, personalised treatments.
Thanks so much for reading and please donate or share the page if you can!
