Story
Many of you may know my big brother Reece who we sadly lost in 2016 due to his disability Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. We were on holiday having the best time but unfortunately, Reece never made it home or to the first day of his new job.
Reece was the brightest character and despite every challenge in life he always had a smile on his face. He had a way of making everything ok.
Anyone who knew Reece knew just what a character he was, he would make anyone’s day with his cheeky smile and awful banta.
To this day, the memories of him that are shared of full of absolute joy, love and laughter and he will forever be remembered and cherished
He was not only my big brother, but my best friend. We were inseparable and loosing him was like loosing a huge part of me.
This years marks our 10th year without him and in his memory I’m taking part in the 100km in March for Alder Hey, the hospital who took THE BEST care of Reece and where he sadly passed.
Reece was diagnosed in Alder hey and spent a lot of his time there. It is a very close place to us as a family and holds a huge place in my heart.
Please donate and help me reach my goal in memory of the best big brother🩷
