Story
A combination of my passions; Roller-skating and Wildlife Conservation!
On Saturday 8th November the Biddulph Leisure Roller Disco community is coming together for a 24-hour charity skate-a-thon.
Why Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Trust?
Amphibians and reptiles are disappearing across the world. In the UK, nearly all our frogs, toads, newts, snakes and lizards have been hit hard in the last century. Some species which were once common are now undergoing widespread decline.
If you make a donation today you will help give a voice to the UK's amphibians and reptiles - saving species, improving habitats and enhancing lives in the process.

MY CHALLENGE
I was given the option of setting a personal goal for the skate-a-thon. Try to endure 3, 6, 9, 12 or the full 24 hours. Given this opportunity, I want to really challenge myself. Therefore, I’m going to attempt to make it the full duration of the event.
Goal - Full 24-hours
I will be posting on my Facebook page to update everyone on how it’s going. I will start with the moment I lace my skates up and end with the second I take my skates off, then you can be assured I’m still working towards that 24-hour goal.
How can you help?
Donating - Any amount, big or small, will go to help the conservation of amphibians and reptiles.
Share - Spreading the word will help this page reach more people
