Story
On 27th April 2025, I’ll be taking on the incredible challenge of the London Marathon in memory of my amazing mum, Vikki Blanchard—a wonderful mum, a devoted nan, and a woman with the biggest heart.
Mum was a passionate supporter of the NSPCC and their vital work in protecting vulnerable children. She dedicated her time and energy to helping others, and I know she would be so proud to see me running in support of a cause she held so close to her heart.
Tragically, we lost Mum in September 2021 to COPD, and not a day goes by that she isn’t deeply missed. This run is for her—her kindness, her strength, and her unwavering love.
Every step of this 26.2-mile journey will be in her honour, and every penny raised will go to the Better Tomorrow Trust, which, through its grant-giving program, will support Mum’s favourite charity, the NSPCC.
If you can, please consider donating. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference—not just to me, but to all those supported by the Better Tomorrow Trust and the NSPCC.
Thank you for reading, for remembering Mum with me, and for helping to create a better tomorrow. ❤️
