Story
I am running the London Marathon in support of Treetops Hospice, a charity that is incredibly close to my heart. As a teacher, I have seen first-hand the difference Treetops makes to young people who have experienced the devastating loss of a loved one far too early in life.
Their support goes far beyond words — they provide comfort, guidance, and a safe space for children, young adults, and families to navigate grief. I’ve witnessed the remarkable impact their care has, helping people rebuild their lives at a time when hope feels out of reach.
I’m taking on this challenge because I want to give back to a charity that does such amazing work for families in their time of greatest need. My goal is to raise £2000 so Treetops can continue offering the compassion, care, and support that changes lives.
Every mile I run will be in honour of the young people and families whose lives have been touched by Treetops, and every pound raised will help ensure no one has to face loss alone.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
