Story
Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page.
In April 2027, I’ll be taking on one of the biggest challenges of my life by running the London Marathon in support of the Robin Cancer Trust.
I chose to support the Robin Cancer Trust because of the incredible work they do raising awareness of cancers affecting young people, educating people on the importance of recognising the signs and symptoms early, and encouraging regular self-checks that can genuinely save lives.
As a young person myself, this cause feels especially important. It’s easy to think that cancer only affects older people, but the Robin Cancer Trust works hard to challenge that misconception and help young people understand that early detection can make a real difference.
Running a marathon is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and I know it will require months of training, commitment and determination. There will undoubtedly be tough days along the way, but knowing that I’m running to support such an important cause will keep me motivated every step of the journey.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help the Robin Cancer Trust continue its vital work in raising awareness, educating communities and supporting young people and their families.
Thank you for your generosity, encouragement and support. It truly means a lot, and I’ll be giving everything I’ve got to make you all proud on marathon day.
This is the impact your donation can make....
£10 - could help The RCT reach 250 people with their cancer awareness cards
£50 - could fund a cancer support pack for a newly diagnosed individual
£250 - could allow them to deliver a life-saving educational talk in schools, colleges, and businesses
£1,000 - could allow them to reach thousands of students at University Fresher's Fairs all across the UK
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
