Alfie's fighting fundraiser for Cerebral Palsy United Football Club!

Ultra MMA Liverpool / St Helens 21st March 2025 · 21 March 2025 ·
Hi, my name is Alfie.
I am doing an MMA fight with https: //www.ultra-mma.co.uk/ to promote and raise money for a charity that is very close to my heart called Cerebral Palsy United. https://www.cpunited.co.uk/
My twin brother Oscar was born with cerebral palsy and I have been his right hand man for 19 years.
My brother has not had things easy, being a constant target and suffering bullying throughout his school life which in this day and age should not be happening. I have witnessed a lot as well with people trying to 'press my buttons' and say things about him that could get a reaction out of me.
What CP United has done for Oscar is that has been given him a sense or worth and something to look forward to at the end of the week and train for. It gives him a purpose.
I want to support this worthy cause because I believe everyone should have a chance to play the sport they love and the CP United community is inspirational. He has played football for CP United from the very start and they are celebrating their 10 year anniversary this year.
Cerebral Palsy United FC is an inclusive and family friendly football club for people living with Cerebral Palsy and Acquired Brain Injury, delivering social interaction and participation in team sport for all ages and abilities.
I personally have taken up this challenge because I want to throw myself in the deep end doing something I've never done before and challenging myself with what is considered to be a dangerous sport.
This reflects the CP United Motto: BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE.
I want to be the best I can be and try my best by putting myself to the test.
Win, lose or draw, I would like to inspire anyone to achieve and be the best they can be, no matter what limitations they may have.
