On the 4th of July, I’ll be taking on a Tough Mudder challenge to raise money for an incredible charity called Sophie’s Journey. I’m doing this in loving memory of my uncle Colin, who passed away from cancer in June 2023.

Colin made a powerful impact on all of our lives. He was one of those rare people who could make any room brighter, and he always had time, kindness, and support to offer to others. Losing him has left a huge gap in our family, but his warmth, generosity, and spirit continue to guide us every day.

Sophie’s Journey supports families facing childhood cancer, offering care and experiences that help create precious memories. It’s a cause that means a great deal to me, and I know Colin would be proud to see this effort made in his name.

Taking on this Tough Mudder is my way of honouring his strength, his courage, and the love he showed to everyone around him. Any donation big or small will make a real difference and help keep his legacy alive by supporting families who need it most.
