Hi, for those who don’t know me, my name is Alfie.

At a young age i experienced a traumatic event, and it is something that has deeply affected me, my family, and those around me, and is something which i can never mentally erase. Embrace is a charity close to my heart, that support children who have experienced trauma. They helped me through a difficult time, by providing me with great experiences, gifts, and support throughout. Through Embrace, they helped me remind myself that i am still a young boy, with so much life to live, fun to have, and memories to make, regardless of what i have experienced, which is something i am truly grateful for.

To give back to a charity that gave so much to me, I am running the Manchester half marathon in order to raise money to help them support more children get through adversity.
