My Name is Alfie and I am 10 years old. I’ve decided to run a mile a day throughout February and hopefully raise £1000 for Alzheimer’s Society Charity for my Nan! Even though I play football every single day running isn’t my strong point but I’m determined to do this for a good cause!

My Nanan Linda was diagnosed with the horrible disease that is Alzheimer’s during covid. I love my Nanan millions, I love helping her with meals and taking her medication but most of all I love her cuddles and being silly and making her laugh. My Nan has the biggest smile and the most amazing heart and I want to do this to make her proud of me but also to raise money to work towards a world where Alzheimer’s no longer devastates life's.
