Nearly two thirds of the 7.5 million children in Ukraine have fled their homes since the beginning of war in February 2022. 353 children were killed, and another 666 were injured - that numbers on the 18th of July. These numbers are incresing every day.
As of the beginning of July, more than 1200 educational institutions, more than 200 hospitals, thousands of kilometres of gas pipelines, water and electricity networks were damaged or completely destroyed in Ukraine.
All children in Ukraine are in imminent danger as as increasing number of hospitals and schools come under attack. Innocent kids were taken away their childhood and many of them have seen things no child should have to experience.
There is no safe place in Ukraine as missiles randomly shelling across whole Ukraine. The whole families are in grave danger, facing potentially fatal storages of water, food, medicine, educational and mental support. This war affect children with long-term trauma that cannot be underestimated.
