Story
I’m running the London Marathon to raise money for the Institute of Cancer Research, London (ICR). One of the most influential cancer research centres, with over a century of life-changing breakthroughs!
In 2016, my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 testicular and germ cell cancer after months of back pain. He began treatment soon after, enduring rounds of chemotherapy and complex surgery to remove a tumour wrapped around his aorta and abdominal organs. A year later, he needed a triple heart bypass, caused by chemotherapy-related damage.
This journey showed me not only how vital specialist care and ongoing research are for families like mine, but also how cancer affects every part of life.
Please donate if you can! Together we can finish cancer.
