I'm running the 2025 London Marathon for Breast Cancer Now, which is a cause close to my heart.

Having never excelled in sport, I saw this as an opportunity to really push myself and achieve a bucket list experience. When I run the marathon, I will have just turned 18, meaning I will be one of the youngest runners.

Three years ago, my mum received the devastating news that she had breast cancer, this was an extremely challenging time for my family and I; the uncertainty of what was going to happen and seeing the struggles my mum was facing daily was very difficult for us all. This was made more challenging due to the covid restrictions.

After a challenging time, my mum is now fit and healthy, and enjoying life even more - she is even my training buddy!!

Breast Cancer Now is an amazing charity, who carry out ground-breaking research, and provide support and advice for those facing these life changing experiences.
